Today is Veteran's Day. For me, it's a day to thank those that serve our country, or have served our country. I'm proud to say that I've had grandparents, uncles, cousins, and my little brother as members of the armed forces. They are all included in my list of heroes. So, from our house to yours, Happy Veteran's Day.

Teegan
Teegan's new favorite thing is bath time. He would stay in there all night if I'd let him.

He likes to sit in his seat and watch Riley. He usually looks like he's trying to figure out how to join in the fun!!
Does this hat make my ears look big?
The other night, Riley was holding Teegan. I looked over, and Riley had Teegan's ears stretched out. I told Riley to quit, and asked him what he was doing. He said, "I'm just tryin' to get his ears to look like mine, momma!" Do you think these pictures explain why his ears stick out a bit? :) Even in the house, he's afraid that darn old hat might just blow away.

Trip to the zoo
Last weekend we had beautiful weather, so we decided to load up and take a trip to the Scottsbluff zoo. Riley is hilarious. Of all the animals to see at the zoo, he loves the buffalo and a miniature donkey in the petting zoo. When we got there, I told him we should go see the monkeys, and Riley said, "I don't want to see a dang monkey! I wanna see the BUFFALO!"

I can't believe how much Riley has changed over the summer. He thinks he is 3, going on 25. He is always making us laugh somehow. This morning we were eating breakfast, and I was talking to him. He said, "Well, momma, I'd like to stay and visit, but I gotta go with Dad. We got work to do."
My little buddy!
