Catching Up

Wow. I didn't realize it had been so long since I had last posted! We have had a busy spring/start of summer! I'll just start by posting some newer pictures of the boys, and add some more posts later.

Well, it seems like just yesterday he was a tiny baby, but now our little cowboy is 4 years old. I can say that for the last 4 years, there has never been a dull moment in our house with Mr. Comedian around. Happy Birthday Riley John!!

(I am VERY thankful that my mom was here to help me decorate the barn cake, by the way...and to witness the sugar high Riley had the entire day!!)

Actually, he did eat other things besides cake that day....I think. But to those who say sugar doesn't affect kids, I beg to differ. But hey, that's what birthdays are for, right??

More visitors!

My aunt Deb and her friend Ray came down to visit before New Years to exchange Christmas gifts. We had a nice visit with them!

I think Teegan thinks Riley is quite the character.

Since I haven't updated this since Christmas, I figured I better put some pictures up. We had an awesome Christmas, but I don't have any pictures yet. I got a new video camera, and it takes still photos too. I can't quite figure out how to get them onto the computer, so those will have to be missing from this post.

My brother and sister came down for a visit a few days after Christmas. It was awesome, because we hadn't seen them in quite awhile. My brother had been stationed in Iraq and was home on leave, so it was great that they took the time to make a quick trip down. It was probably my best Christmas present!

My mom came down a few days before Christmas to have our "early Christmas." Teegan didn't quite know what to think of it all, but he got some good practice at opening presents. This year he had quite a bit of help from his big brother.

SD visitors

Last weekend we had quite a few visitors. Dannica and her friend came down and brought Grandma Helen along, and Aunt Jonna flew in from Miami. On Saturday, Dannica and Jonna went to a Bronco's game in Denver while Grandma stayed here. Then Danna picked Grandma up on the way home Monday. We had a great time. Grandma spent plenty of time spoiling the boys, and they even had time to bake some of Grandma's famous cookies.

Aunt Deb sent these shirts for Riley and Teegan. Trying to take their pictures proved to be quite the task......but we finally got it done.

Uncle Steve and Aunt Barb's visit

Steve and Barb stopped on their way from SD to Kansas the day after Thanksgiving. It was good to see them again, and they got to meet Teegan for the first time. Too bad we didn't have any leftover turkey, huh guys? haha.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We had the dinner at our house again this year, so our house was full of people. Riley got to hang out with "his bestest baby cousin" Duggan. The best part of my day was getting to talk to my brother Zach from Germany. It was nice to get together with friends and family.

Wow. It's been awhile since I have updated this! Things have been super busy around here with the holiday season and winter weather. We've had some good visits from friends and family since I last posted!

Grandpa Joe and Grandma Laura stopped by on their way home from Denver to visit right before Thanksgiving. We were glad they stopped, it was fun.











I've been having some computer problems, so I'll have to add more pictures and updates tomorrow.
